Baked fish with Rosemary


Description:
In India we have so many herbs that are used for cooking. Well, there are many more amazing herbs which adds wonderful flavour to your dish. This recipe is for baking fish with rosemary herbs. Fresh rosemary are preferable but if can`t get hold of them please try with dried rosemary leaves.

Ingredients:
1. Tilapia fish fillets - 2(you can use Salmon, Red snapper etc)
2. Garlic pods - 3
3. Black pepper corns - 1tspn
4. Breadcrums - 2tspn
5. Rosemary leaves
6. Oil(I used olive oil)
7. Lemon/lemon zest-2 tspn
8. Salt to taste

Procedure:
Clean the fillets are pat it dry with a tissue paper. Crush the garlic and pepper corns and set aside. Take out the rosemary leaves from the stem, you can even chop them or use as whole leaves. Wash the lemon properly, multiple times preferred. Pat them dry and  grate  the lemon Zest.





Combine all the above ingredients in a bowl with some olive oil and salt to make a marinade. Take the fish fillets and put 1 or 2 slits. Apply the marinade on the fish properly. Make sure the marinated is coated all over the fish as well as inside the slits. Take a baking tray and grease with little oil. Transfer the fillets into the tray.

 Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the fish and pour few drops of oil over the fish.


Preheat you oven 220deg and then put the baking tray into the oven. Bake for 15 minutes(300deg). Baking time will be more incase you are using big fleshy fish. Once its done take out from the oven and let it cool down for few seconds before serving.
